Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks an experienced ABA Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for families pursuing ABA services. You will manage referrals, guide families through intake and authorization, and collect documents from physicians and providers to support timely onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, case management, medical office, or ABA required
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes (Medicaid, commercial plans) highly valued

Responsibilities

• Manage and process all incoming ABA referrals from physicians and schools
• Verify referral details and request missing documentation promptly
• Document intake information in the EHR and intake tracking systems
• Guide families through intake, insurance requirements, and timelines
• Coordinate with providers to obtain reports, prescriptions, and care plans
• Support insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Coordinate with clinical teams to schedule assessments
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation and payer compliance
