Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) in Bloomfield, CT is seeking an ABA Instructor to support one-to-one and small group instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis. You will collect data, collaborate with teachers, and maintain safety while implementing targeted academic and behavioral programming.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) and experience with students with disabilities, plus capacity to complete Safety Care training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• One year working with students with disabilities.
• Ability to pass competency checklist and Safety Care training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support daily school functions and cover classrooms as needed.
• Provide 1:1 or small group instruction under the classroom teacher.
• Collect, track, and enter student data in real time and in databases.
• Collaborate with classroom staff and maintain safety of students.
• Implement academic and behavioral programming using ABA.
• Complete paperwork and organize instructional materials.
