Job summary

LEARN Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona is looking for a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support students with special needs. You will help develop essential academic and daily living skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and experience in a special needs educational setting. This position offers competitive compensation and a full-time, structured work schedule.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience working with children in a special needs educational setting.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated experience using physical ability to safely use Crisis Management Interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support using applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Support students in social-emotional and adaptive behavior development.
• Collect data on student progress towards goals as directed.
