Cheshire Public Schools seeks an ABA/DTI Paraeducator for the Bridges program at Doolittle Elementary School. This 30-hour position supports elementary students with emotionally based disabilities under supervision of the BCBA, school psychologist and teachers.
The role involves implementing instructions, following behavior plans, data collection and collaboration in IEP goals. Strong communication and willingness to participate in ongoing professional learning are required.
The Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA)/DTI Paraeducator works in a special education program with elementary aged children at Doolittle School with emotionally based disabilities under the direction of the special education teachers and school psychologist.
The ABA/DTI Paraeducator Will Be Able To

Special Education Supervisor and/or School Principal
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a high school diploma. (New College Grads encouraged to apply!!! Good experience for future psychologists, social workers and special education teachers.)

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. Starting Salary $25.87/hour. Benefits Available.
