Job summary

ABA Centers of Connecticut is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) for part-time positions in New Haven, East Haven, and West Haven, CT. Starting pay ranges from $22.25/hour for BTs to $24.60/hour for RBTs, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

Training support through the ABA Academy of Excellence is provided to prepare for the RBT exam. You’ll work under BCBA supervision to deliver ABA therapy, teach essential skills, and collect accurate data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
