Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques under supervision of a BCBA.

You will collect data, monitor progress toward goals, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients’ social, communication, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of ABA and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and team.
• RBT certification required

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills
