Compass ABA Therapy is seeking ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs for daytime, afternoon, and evening shifts in Hazlet, NJ. The role involves delivering one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision and helping build communication, play, social, and daily living skills in home or community settings.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma, are authorized to work in the United States, and are fluent in English and Spanish.

Now Hiring ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs – Daytime & Afternoon Shifts!

• Location: Hazlet, NJ

• Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

• Compensation: $20–30/hr (based on experience)

• Type: Part-Time (25–30 hrs/week)

• Shifts: Daytime/ Afternoons/ Evenings (3–4 hrs/day, vary by client)

Daytime & Afternoon Schedules:

• Hazlet, NJ: M- F: 11:30AM- 3:30PM & afternoon block M-F: 4/4:30- 6/6:30PM (Must be available for both blocks)

About Compass ABA:

• As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism.

• Help build communication, play, social, and daily living skills.

• Work in homes or community settings.

Responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT:

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.

• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.

• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.

• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.

• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.

• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (college preferred).

• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete all onboarding requirements.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in both languages.

• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.

• Experience with children/autism preferred.

• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.
