Job summary

Compass ABA Therapy is seeking ABA Behavior Technician/RBTs for afternoon shifts in West Milford, NJ. This part-time role (15–20 hours/week) offers $20–30/hour, with 3–4 hours per day and afternoon/evening shifts.

You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in homes or community settings under BCBA supervision, helping children build communication, play, social, and daily living skills. Qualified candidates are fluent in English and Spanish, have a HS diploma (college preferred), and can meet

• Reliable transportation and comfortable with technology.

Responsibilities

• Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

• Compensation: $20–30/hr (based on experience)

About Compass ABA:

• As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism.

Responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT:

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.

• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.

• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.

• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.

• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.

• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (college preferred).

• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in both languages.
