Job summary

Compass ABA Therapy is looking for an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. The role offers part-time afternoon shifts and provides one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in homes or community settings.

You will work under BCBA supervision, help build communication and daily living skills, and collaborate with families to implement treatment plans. Growth opportunities and supervision toward RBT certification are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to complete onboarding.
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience.
• Willing to pursue RBT certification within 90 days of hire.

Now Hiring ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs – Afternoon Shifts!

• Location: Las Cruces, NM
• Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT
• Compensation: $15–25/hr (based on experience)
• Type: Part-Time (30- 32.5 hrs/week)
• Shifts: Afternoons (3-4 hrs/day, vary by client)

Afternoon Schedules:

• Las Cruces, NM: Tues- Fri: 12:00- 2:30PM

About Compass ABA:

• As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism.

Responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT:

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete all onboarding requirements.
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience required.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.
• Must be willing to navigate the path toward becoming an RBT by completing the certification within 90 days of hire.
