Job summary

Compass ABA Therapy in Edison, NJ is hiring ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs for daytime shifts. This part-time role offers 15–25 hours per week, with shifts from 9AM–2PM, in-home or community settings.

You will deliver ABA therapy under supervision to help children develop essential skills and independence. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication, reliability, and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

About Compass ABA

Responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete all onboarding requirements.
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.
