Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC seeks a Behavior Technician for in-center work in Parsippany, NJ. Responsibilities include delivering ABA services to children under BCBA supervision and collecting data in accordance with treatment plans.

You will implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, support communication and social goals, and collaborate with families and the clinical team. Travel to client homes or centers as needed may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional college education preferred.
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred but training provided.
• Strong communication and reliability; ability to follow treatment plans.
• Willingness to travel to client homes, community settings, or Step Up centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services under BCBA supervision.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
• Support goals in communication, social, adaptive, academic, and other skills.
• Collect and document client data and session notes using required systems.
• Monitor responses and report progress or safety concerns to BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments.
• Collaborate with clients, families, BCBAs and clinical team.
• Maintain attendance and scheduling reliability; participate in supervision and training.
• Use systems for documentation and billing; ensure timely records.
• Maintain client safety and comply with policies and regulations.
