Job summary

POPS ABA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support children with autism and other developmental challenges. You will work with a BCBA to implement behavior plans, teach life skills, and track progress across home, school, and community settings.

You will collect data, deliver evidence-based ABA interventions, and help clients reach meaningful goals while benefiting from extensive training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans with accuracy.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
• Compassionate, patient approach to supporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Follow BIPs created by BCBA to address client goals.
• Provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Help clients acquire functional skills (communication, self-care, independence).
• Create a supportive environment that promotes engagement and motivation.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to ensure consistency across settings.
• Communicate progress with families and team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in ABA.
