Job summary

Pops-Aba is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with autism and other developmental challenges. You will work closely with a BCBA, implementing personalized ABA plans across home, school, and community settings to teach essential life skills and improve client outcomes.

You will collect data, track progress, and help clients gain functional skills while contributing to a positive, collaborative environment and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address client needs.
  • Provide direct, one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques such as DTT, naturalistic teaching, and behavior management.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using designated tools.
  • Help clients acquire and practice functional skills in communication, socialization, self-care, and independence.
  • Create a supportive environment that promotes engagement, motivation, and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress and adjust strategies across settings.
  • Communicate progress updates to clients, families, and team members.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance ABA skills.

Position Overview

We're looking for caring, motivated individuals to step into the role of Behavior Technician. Working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll help implement personalized behavior plans and teach essential life skills in home, school, and community settings. As a Behavior Technician, you will be key in providing evidence-based interventions, tracking progress, and helping clients achieve meaningful goals.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance ABA skills and knowledge.
