Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home-based or community-based settings, working with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or similar needs. You will help build communication and social skills while following plans from Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Roles include documenting progress, creating structured interactions, and collaborating with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with children or coursework in psychology/education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
