Magnet ABA Therapy in Roeland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to implement individualized ABA programs under supervision of a BCBA, provide one-on-one therapy, and help teach social, communication, and daily living skills.

You will collect data, adjust treatment plans with the BCBA, and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Behavior Technician or working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with the BCBA to modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients and their families.
