Job summary
A leading Applied Behavior Analysis service provider based in Connecticut is hiring motivated Behavior Technicians to work with children ages 2-18. This position involves implementing individualized behavioral services under BCBA supervision and requires reliable transportation to different clients' locations. Applicants should preferably have a degree in a related field and experience working with special needs children. The role offers flexible hours and competitive pay, plus the company provides training for certifications.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children/adolescents with special needs including Autism using ABA focused interventions is preferred.
RBT Certification is preferred but not required. Company will provide RBT Training.
Must have reliable transportation and insurance.
Responsibilities
Implement 1:1 individualized behavioral services to children (ages 3-18) using Applied Behavior Analysis.
Document child's behaviors and skill progress using electronic data collection software.
Communicate with supervisory staff.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to multi-task and remain actively engaged with client
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and independently
Ability to accurately record data
Receptive to learning and feedback
Ability to work with special-needs children
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
Education
