Rethink Behavior Solutions LLC in California is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized intervention plans and support skill development in social, communication, and daily living areas.

You will collect data, assist with ADLs, reinforce positive behaviors, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and collaborate with supervisors to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' development and independence.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote self-care skills.
• Collect data on client behaviors.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop, update, and follow personalized care plans.
• Support teaching sessions by reinforcing positive behaviors and managing challenging behaviors through effective behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality.
