Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy seeks compassionate Behavior Technicians to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will implement personalized ABA plans under a BCBA, delivering services across home, school, and community settings to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will track progress, document data, and maintain open communication with families and team members while receiving thorough training to ensure effective, consistent intervention.

Responsibilities

• Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to meet client needs.
• Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques.
• Record and document client behavior and progress with the tools and systems provided.
• Support clients in building skills related to communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living.
• Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting client engagement and autonomy.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency in implementing plans across settings.
• Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, providing updates and sharing important information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices and techniques.
