Job summary

Acorn Health is hiring Behavior Technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum. You will deliver high-quality, intensive ABA interventions under BCBA supervision, in centers, homes, or schools as needed.

Training and ongoing professional development are provided. Successful candidates will have 1–2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in psychology/education, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience working with children highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others.

Responsibilities

• Complete training necessary to provide therapy (state requirements vary).
• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
• Work closely with supervising BCBA and team to ensure high-quality service.
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by BCBA.
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions.
• Communicate regularly with parents and supervisors to inform and improve plans.
• Provide services at center, home, school, or other locations as clinically indicated.
• Schedule may include driving between clients.
