Job summary

First Children Services in Atlantic City, NJ seeks a part-time BT/RBT to provide direct behavioral support under supervision. The role involves implementing treatment plans and assisting clients in communication, social, and daily living skills across settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience working with children.
• Ability to work with children with a range of behavioral needs.
• Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and interventions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to use technology for daily documentation.
• Ability to receive, apply, and respond positively to feedback.
• Ability to perform administrative tasks and maintain work areas.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Preferred: Two years in direct-care or human services.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group support to clients within the assigned service area.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and clinical programming.
• Collect accurate session data and complete required documentation on time.
• Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and adaptive skills.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions as directed by the supervisor.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and treatment team.
• Promote positive behavioral outcomes and consistent implementation of goals.
• Complete administrative and program-support activities when direct service hours are not available.
• Maintain a professional, respectful environment for clients and families.
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
