Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide high-quality 1:1 ABA services to children with autism across clinic, home, school, and community settings. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement individualized treatment plans, collect accurate data, and support skill development while reducing challenging behaviors.

This role requires collaboration with families and team members, adherence to ethical standards, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience providing ABA therapy is preferred.
• Strong flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow clinical direction and work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality 1:1 ABA services to clients with autism in clinic, home, school, and community settings under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implements individualized treatment and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA or supervising behavior consultant.
• Applies positive behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills.
• Accurately collects and maintains client data and documents services via session notes.
• Collaborates with caregivers, BCBAs, and agency team members.
• Participates in ongoing training related to behavior analysis, crisis intervention, and professional development.
