Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA services to individuals with autism across clinic, home, school, and community settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, collect accurate data, and support skill development while reducing challenging behaviors.

You will collaborate with families and team members, participate in ongoing training, and adhere to ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience providing ABA therapy preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple work sites with reliable transportation.
• Pass health screenings, including TB testing, and obtain required vaccination(s).
• Background checks including Criminal/Child Abuse Registry as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides 1:1 ABA services to clients in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings under BCBA supervision.
• Implements individualized treatment and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA or supervising behavior consultant.
• Applies positive behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills.
• Accurately collects and maintains client data and documents services via session notes.
• Collaborates effectively with caregivers, BCBAs, and agency team members.
• Delivers therapy services aligned with competency-based evaluations.
• Performs related administrative tasks as needed, including material prep and clinic organization.
