Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Behavior Specialist to join our team at the Community Center in Bucks County, Langhorne, PA. This full-time role focuses on developing individualized behavior support plans to improve life quality for the individuals we serve.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to assess needs, deliver training, and apply evidence-based behavior management strategies. Duties include FBAs, BSPs, crisis plans, data review, and staff coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education or ABA.
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and prepare reports per state/ODP requirements.
• Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and Crisis Intervention Plans using evidence-based methods.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, caregivers, and team members to implement strategies.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust programming as needed.
• Provide direct skills training and behavior therapy to individuals on caseload.
• Develop fading plans for restrictive interventions and participate in clinical rounds.
