Job summary

National Health Foundation in Los Angeles is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to support recuperative care guests with developmental and behavioral challenges using ABA methods.

You will observe behaviors and design IBSPs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and assist with crisis response across multiple program sites. Strong documentation and ethical care are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with ABA principles and behavior support plans.
• Minimum 6 months experience with individuals.
• Bachelor’s degree in ABA preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Registered Behavior Technician preferred.
• Ability to work under high stress and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Study guest behavior and apply ABA principles.
• Collaborate with IDT and Director to create a robust behavior support plan.
• Respond to crises among guests with behavioral challenges.
• Provide feedback and documentation for IBSP.
• Train staff and guests in implementing plans.
• On call with crisis mobile team across program sites.
