Job summary

Dream Big Children's Center in Visalia, CA is seeking a dedicated professional to conduct functional behavior assessments under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and to develop individualized treatment plans emphasizing naturalistic ABA.

You will guide and mentor behavior therapists, collaborate with families to integrate ABA strategies, analyze data weekly, write progress reports, and participate in team trainings while logging hours and submitting timesheets.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in psychology or a related field, or completion of at least 12 units of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) coursework.
• At least two years of experience in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism.
• TB test and livescan clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Develop a treatment plan specific to each individual's needs emphasizing naturalistic ABA under supervision
• Guide behavior therapists in implementing the treatment plan using coaching, modeling, and reinforcement strategies
• Mentor and help develop behavior therapists to implement ABA effectively
• Collaborate with parents and families to integrate the use of ABA strategies in their everyday lives
• Develop a therapeutic alliance with parents, family and the individual receiving services
• Analyze data and monitor progress on a weekly basis; present data and discuss progress with the BCBA
• Write progress reports as required by funding sources
• Meet with the behavior analyst weekly to review client progress and therapist performance
• Collaborate with the clinical team during team meetings
• Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled
• Log all hours worked and submit timesheets on time
