Job summary

Behavioral Innovations is looking for an ABA Apprentice in Houston, Texas. The role includes hands-on learning and support from experienced BCBAs, preparing you for the BCBA exam.

You will assist with therapy for clients, conduct indirect supervision tasks, and gain essential field experience. This role is perfect for those nearing completion of their master's degree with an active RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Must be within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence.
• Active RBT certification is required.
• At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a mini-caseload of learners.
• Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBA caseloads.
• Support BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data.

Compensation

• TX & OK: $25/hour
• VA, MD, & CO: $28.50/hour
• NC: $27/hour

What You’ll Have (REQUIRED)

• Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
• Active RBT certification
• At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed

What You'll Do

• Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a your own mini‑caseload of learners.
• Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs’ respective caseload.
• Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training.
• Assist BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data.
• Research literature related to client programs.
• Oversee implementation of behavior‑analytic programs by others.
• Complete Monthly Mock Exams
• Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan
