Job summary

Modivcare is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care in Meriden, CT and surrounding areas. Join a team that values you, offers paid orientation, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, and weekends.

Responsibilities include companionship, assistance with daily activities, meal support, and ensuring safe, clean homes. Bilingual Spanish is preferred to best serve diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish or bilingual (preferred).
• Availability to work day shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
• Reliable transportation required to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and mobility as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living spaces for clients.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
