Job summary

Citi in India is seeking an experienced ETL Ab Initio Developer to design and deliver enterprise-scale data integration solutions across global reporting and analytics. You will own end-to-end ETL development using Ab Initio and contribute to data quality and governance.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, data architects, and project managers to translate requirements into technical specifications, troubleshoot production issues, and support deployment across CI/CD

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, Express>It, Conduct>It, and EME.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and complex queries.
• UNIX/Linux OS and shell scripting (Bash, Korn).
• Deep DW concepts, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile software methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and tune scalable ETL processes using Ab Initio.
• Build data integration between source systems and reporting platforms.
• Write and tune SQL queries against Oracle and relational databases.
• Drive data governance and data quality practices across the landscape.
• Oversee code migration, version control, and environment setups (EME).
• Translate requirements into implementable technical specifications.
• Investigate, analyse, and resolve L2 production issues.
• Manage the full data application development lifecycle from planning to production support.
