Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC seeks an Ab Initio Architect and SME to modernize an Army system to Ab Initio. You will lead end-to-end ETL design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the solution meets government needs. The role requires strong data integration expertise and DoD compliance.

The position is based in Credence's Tysons Corner, McLean, VA or Dayton, OH, with onboarding planned for September 2026. Bachelor's degree and extensive Ab Initio experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in enterprise data integration, Ab Initio and related tools.
• 7+ years in data integration architecture and ETL development; 5+ years with Ab Initio.
• Proven modernization experience for Federal government systems or large data platforms.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, data modeling, ETL processes, and integration strategies.
• Experience with complex data workflows, data pipelines, and transformation logic.
• Extensive experience with Ab Initio, Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL, and Control-M.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain Ab Initio-based solutions.
• Up-to-date with trends in data integration, governance, and Ab Initio technologies.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and clients.
• Cloud-based Ab Initio platforms with AWS/Azure experience.
• Extensive Ab Initio Suite experience (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME).
• Familiarity with orchestration components (Conduct) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Federal regulations and security compliance.
• Certifications in Ab Initio desirable.
• Must be eligible for security clearance; Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization efforts for DoD data systems and architectures.
• Design and implement ETL workflows using Ab Initio and Oracle SQL.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and guide designs.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance throughout the data pipeline lifecycle.
