Job summary

ModivCare in Waterbury is seeking caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care with starting pay of $16.94 per hour and extra earnings through our rewards program. Immediate opportunities in Danbury and surrounding area offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily care like bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed
• Respect diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence
