Job summary

A&B Homecare Solutions is seeking caring individuals to join our team of home caregivers in Ansonia and surrounding areas. We offer a starting pay rate of $16.94 per hour plus the opportunity to earn extra cash through our Caregiver Rewards Program.

We provide weekly pay, paid orientation, flexible schedules, and a range of benefits to support caregivers and their families. We value reliability and compassionate care, with opportunities for growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English required; bilingual preferred for some client needs.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Willingness to work day or evening shifts, weekdays and/or weekends.
• Caregiving experience or passion for home care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces
• Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed
• Respect client differences while delivering professional care
• Be a friendly, reassuring presence to clients and families

• Availability to work day or evening shifts, weekdays and/or weekends
• Reliable transportationto and from client's location
• Fluent in English, bilingual preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily care like bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
