Job summary

Merge is seeking a Research Associate in San Francisco to establish, operate, and improve their AAV vector core. This hands-on role requires excellent mammalian tissue culture skills and a detail-oriented mindset. You will run AAV production workflows, perform QC assays, and maintain meticulous documentation and records.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mammalian tissue culture and aseptic technique.
• Experience with AAV, lentivirus, biologics production, or similar workflows.
• Strong documentation habits, maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Run AAV production workflows from mammalian cell culture through to harvest.
• Perform QC assays to assess vector titer and purity.
• Maintain accurate lot records and sample metadata in an ELN.
