Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a qualified professional to provide programmatic, technical, and stakeholder support to Florida Department of Transportation leadership within the National Aviation Planning + Environmental Planning Practice.

The role focuses on advancing emerging aviation initiatives, including Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and UAS, and supports project delivery, strategic planning, and implementation across Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field with 4 years of professional experience, or Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Professional credentials such as PE, EIT, AICP, PTP are preferred per the ad.

Responsibilities

• Research data sources and conduct data analysis for projects.
• Identify planning and analysis strategies using GIS, traffic, or safety software.
• Evaluate planning processes and technical solutions to meet project needs.
• Coordinate with project team members and other disciplines.
• Participate in client meetings and prepare maps, exhibits, and presentation materials.
• Draft reports and contribute to plans, studies, and environmental documents.
