Job summary

University at Albany is seeking an Associate Director of Accreditation & Strategic Planning to coordinate AACSB accreditation activities, manage assurance of learning, and provide data-driven support for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

This role partners with the Associate Dean, faculty, and university offices to ensure reporting, assessment, and benchmarking are effectively integrated across the School.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in higher education, accreditation, institutional effectiveness, assessment, strategic planning, institutional research, or a related area.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support organizational decision-making and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate AACSB accreditation activities, including annual reporting, record maintenance, self-study materials, peer reviews, and standards compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and report accreditation-related data supporting AACSB requirements.
• Manage faculty qualification processes, including surveys and CV data management.
• Coordinate assurance of learning initiatives by maintaining assessment plans and calendars.
• Compile and disseminate AoL results through annual reports and dashboards.
• Monitor and document continuous improvement actions and curricular changes.
