Job summary

Career Links is seeking an AAC Specialist (Speech-Language Pathologist) to support students with complex communication needs across a multi-district school program in Oregon. The role blends clinical evaluation, system design, and professional training to promote meaningful participation in education and daily life.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and therapists, provide consultations, and facilitate access to high- and low-tech AAC solutions, while ensuring compliance with IDEA

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Oregon SLP license or TSPC license with CCC-SLP or active credential pursuit.
• Eligibility for Oregon credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive AAC and AT evaluations.
• Design and implement communication systems, including eye-gaze and switch access.
• Provide professional development and coaching to school teams.
• Collaborate with districts, families, and service providers.
• Maintain documentation and comply with IDEA, FERPA, HIPAA.
