Job summary

Ampersand Therapy invites applications for an AAC Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year in the Corvallis, OR area. The role is in-person, full-time, across multiple school sites, with a woman- and therapist-operated company dedicated to support and mentorship.

You will provide AAC services, conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active Oregon SLP license required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide AAC services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
