Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC in Corvallis, OR is hiring an AAC Specialist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This in-person, full-time role serves multiple school sites and focuses on augmentative communication interventions within the school setting.

You will conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, develop IEP goals, participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain timely documentation while tracking student progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Active Oregon SLP License is required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide AAC services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
