Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group in Fairfield, CA is hiring a Tow Service Specialist to join our roadside heroes. You’ll operate tow trucks safely, perform basic diagnostics, and deliver essential assistance while providing calm, confident support to members.

Starting pay is $25.25 per hour with guaranteed 40 hours weekly, shift differentials, monthly bonuses, and a strong benefits package including 401(k) matching and tuition reimbursement. Training is provided to help you grow a secure career.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Operating tow trucks safely and efficiently.
• Performing simple vehicle diagnostics to figure out the issue.
• Providing essential roadside assistance, including tire changes, fuel delivery, and vehicle lock-outs.
• Building trust, problem-solving, and being a calming presence for our members on the scene.

What We Are Looking For

• We provide top-tier, paid training for the role.
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for helping people.
• Willingness and flexibility to work the hours between 2pm - 12:30am, including weekends. Actual schedule will be given at after training
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• Works outdoors at vehicle sites when servicing vehicles. Lifting and carrying tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day; bending, kneeling and stooping as required for service calls. Works in all weather and all traffic conditions. Vehicle recovery sites may be wet, messy and hazardous. Service Providers are required to provide a photograph for identification purposes.
