Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama seeks an Aircraft Electrical Installer to join the Manufacturing team on-site. The role involves wiring, testing, and assembling electrical components in support of A320 and A220 production.

You will operate within a team focused on quality and safety on the shop floor. Applicants should have 2+ years in aviation production or similar manufacturing environments and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent (I.E Shipbuilding, Heavy Machinery, Automotive Manufacturing, Military Aviation, MRO Aviation)

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and inspections including the preparation and change of programs, checks system functions in compliance with work orders, inspects earth connections, performs continuity tests including ground test inspection, start of operation, trouble shooting, debugging, entering of measured values and documenting same in the SAP system.
• Installs and produces electrical components at the station per order including collecting, reading, comparing and set-up
• Prepares electrical components at the station or workplace according to work order including marking, preparing, laying, connecting, assembling, bundling, painting and soldering of parts
• This job requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success
