Job summary

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile is seeking a skilled Cabin Installer for the second shift on a contract basis. The role involves precise installation of cabin interior components on the A220, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

Contractors are employed by a third-party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America. Responsibilities include assembling cabin elements, performing functional checks, and maintaining safety and documentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in aircraft interior installation.
Ability to read complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specs.
Proficient with hand and power tools for aircraft assembly.
Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work the second shift.

Responsibilities

Install, fit, and secure cabin interior components per drawings and Airbus standards.
Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly of cabin elements.
Conduct functional checks and adjustments of installed components.
Identify and report discrepancies or issues with parts or installations.
Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Complete necessary documentation and records accurately.
