Qualifications

• 1 year of AV technical support experience required.
• Fundamental knowledge of video switching, multi-view, recording/streaming.
• Familiar with auditorium tech: lighting, cameras, audio mixers, recording.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot AV issues.
• Basic Crestron Mercury functionality knowledge.
• Basic understanding of training room operations.
• Experience with Vitec TV management or similar system.
• Basic familiarity with RDP tools: UltraVNC, SCCM.
• On-site attendance is required.

Job description

Our Enterprise Technology team is looking to add a motivated A/V Support Technician to assist us with our growing operations. The A/V Support Technician I is the entry point into the A/V technician career path and the front line of daily audiovisual support across the organization. This role responds to incident calls, diagnoses and resolves A/V issues in conference rooms, training rooms, and auditorium spaces, and provides hands‑on support for live events including recording and streaming. The technician works independently on routine tasks while building the system depth needed to progress toward Level II.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Work independently with little supervision on daily support tasks

• Manage incident calls at a high level of client service, from intake through resolution

• Diagnose problems or technical issues and determine proper solutions

• Live setup and support for A/V events, including live sound mixing, monitoring presentations, functionality checks, and recording and live streaming for training sessions, auditorium events, and company‑wide raffles

• Perform conference and training room functionality checks to confirm rooms are event‑ready

• Escalate issues appropriately when a resolution falls outside the scope of the role

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have:

• 1 year of experience working in an AV technical support role
• Basic understanding of video switching systems, including projects, multi‑view, recording and streaming, and graphic use and creation
• Basic understanding of auditorium technologies, including lighting, camera systems, audio mixers, video switcher, and recording software and devices
• Display diagnostic and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of Crestron Mercury functionality
• Basic understanding of training room functionality
• Vitec management or similar TV management system experience
• Basic understanding of RDP tools, including UltraVNC and SCCM
• On‑site attendance

• Physical Requirements

  • Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching in the course of equipment setup and support

  • Ability to safely climb and work from ladders

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Nice to Have:

• Advanced knowledge of AV equipment, computers, applications, and technology.
