Job summary

Panasonic Corporation of North America seeks a KAIROS-dedicated Sales Engineer to support the PAVNA sales team in selling KAIROS solutions across broadcast, sports venues, corporate, education, and houses of worship in the US.

You will lead technical pre-sales engagements, perform KAIROS demonstrations and PoCs, design system architectures, and provide post-sales support and training. Willingness to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in professional video/broadcast/AV with 3+ years in IP-based live production.
• Working knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110 and NMOS.
• Hands-on design/operation of IT/IP networks (multicast, VLAN, 10GbE+).
• Experience with live production switchers, video mixers, and related workflows.
• Familiarity with IP audio networking (Dante, AES67, SMPTE 2110-30).
• Willingness/ability to travel up to 50%.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical visits to position KAIROS for production applications.
• Conduct Demos, PoCs, and competitive comparisons for KAIROS.
• Design KAIROS systems, BOMs, and IP network topologies.
• Support events with demos and technical presentations.
• Train sales team on KAIROS and IP video tech.
• Manage post-sales support and on-site services.
• Provide customer training on operation, config, and updates.
• Troubleshoot live production issues during events.
