Job summary

Howard Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced A/V Programmer to develop and implement control system solutions for complex installations. You will program A/V control systems, integrate hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation for clients.

This role offers career progression into A/V Engineer or A/V Project Manager, with opportunities to work across projects, lead deployments, and contribute to best practices, documentation, and post-installation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in A/V control system programming and integration.
• Strong knowledge of A/V control platforms (Crestron, AMX, Extron, Q-SYS).
• Experience with DSP configuration and A/V-over-IP technologies (Dante, NVX, SDVoE, NDI).
• Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex).
• Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, and remote diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program A/V control systems for complex installations.
• Configure and optimize DSPs for audio performance.
• Implement A/V over IP solutions and integrate with control systems.
• Create user interfaces for touch panels, web, and mobile control.
• Provide training, documentation, and post-installation support.
