Job summary

4Wall in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time AV technician to maintain, repair, and quality-control servers, cameras, switchers, LED tiles, projectors, and other AV gear for major events.

You should be highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of audio/video equipment including speakers, amps, cables, consoles, projectors, screens, LED panels.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stay highly organized with strong communication skills.
• Experience with maintenance, testing, and quality control of AV gear.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and perform quality control on server, cameras, switcher, LED tiles, projector, comms, wireless mic systems, audio consoles, and other AV gear.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure reliability for events and productions.
• Ensure proper documentation and coordination with team for on-time setup and breakdown.

What you will be doing

While every day is different at 4Wall, you would be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and quality control of server, cameras, switcher, LED tiles, projector, Com systems, wireless microphone systems, audio consoles and other A/V gear.

What you bring to the table

Our ideal candidate will possess in depth understanding of various audio and video equipment including speakers, amps, cables, consoles, projectors, screens, tvs, LED panels, switchers, media servers, cameras, etc. Can lift up to 70 pounds. Must be extremely organized and have excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.

Position Details

• Full-time position
• Hourly Range: $21.00 - $23.00
