Job summary

4Wall is seeking a Rigging Department Technician to join our team in New Jersey. You will handle equipment check-in/out, barcode scanning, and data entry, ensuring accurate counts for rentals.

You will inspect and maintain motors, controls, rigging, and power distribution, perform repairs, and prep gear for orders. The role is full-time with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced events production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with theatrical rigging equipment or electric motors.
• Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out orders, scan equipment barcodes, and enter quantity counts in RentalWorks.
• Clean, organize, test, troubleshoot and maintain certifications on motors, controls, rigging, and power distribution systems and equipment; repair and maintain gear.
• Prepare and prep equipment for orders.

We are looking for a Rigging Department Technician to come join the 4Wall team!

What you will be doing:

While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for checking in and out orders, including scanning equipment barcodes, and entering quantity count data in RentalWorks; cleaning, organizing, testing, troubleshooting and keeping updated certifications on motors, controls, rigging, and power distribution systems and equipment; general repair and maintenance of the equipment; and preparing/prepping equipment for orders.

What you bring to the table:

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with theatrical rigging equipment or electric motors, good troubleshooting and repair skills, the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment without supervision, and the ability to lift 75-100 lbs.

Hourly Range

$23.63 - $27.35
