Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician I to join the Commercial Aircraft Group. You will report to the Process Manager and work onsite on 2nd or 3rd shift, in East Aurora, NY.

The role focuses on assembly using mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, testing operations, and supporting operations with daily admin tasks. FAA Drug & Alcohol program enrollment is required. Eligible for a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to follow verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a technical field.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly using mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, fixtures, tooling and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
• Work from drawings and instructions and document performance results clearly.
• Test operations include setup and execution of tests on high precision stands using hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardware condition to provide rework instructions.
• Perform daily administrative tasks to support overall operations.

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise,demonstratedability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, anddemonstratedability to perform simple addition, subtraction,multiplicationand division.
• Typically, at least 1 yearofrelated experience in a related technical field.
• In accordance withstrict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulationsregardingSafety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

AsanA&T Technician II, you will:

• Perform assembly activities using a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures, tooling,gaugingand torque mechanisms to obtain desired build requirements.
• Work from drawings, work instructions, partslistsor otherinstructionand provide written communication defining performance results and situational circumstances.
• Test operations include setting up and performing operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands. This activity uses hydraulic,pneumaticand electronic test equipment,fixturesand tools to obtain desired performance results.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardwareconditionto provide recommended rework instruction and configuration changes.
• Perform daily administrative responsibilities to support overall operations.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $22.00-$27.00 Hourly
