Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician II for a 2nd or 3rd shift, onsite at East Aurora, NY. You will perform assembly and testing of high-precision aerospace hardware, using mechanical and electronic measurement tools, and work from detailed drawings and instructions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and about 1 year of related technical experience. FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• Typically at least 1 year of related experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly using mechanical/electronic measurement equipment, fixtures, gauging and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
• Work from drawings or instructions and document performance results and situations.
• Test operations include setting up and performing operational tests on high precision test stands with hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose test failures and provide rework instructions and configuration changes.
• Maintain daily administrative duties to support operations.

Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.Typically, at least 1 year of related experience in a related technical field.In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s \"F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program\" is a requirement for this position.As an A&T Technician II, you will:Perform assembly activities using a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging and torque mechanisms to obtain desired build requirements.Work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and provide written communication defining performance results and situational circumstances.Test operations include setting up and performing operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands.
