Job summary

Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician II to join our Space and Defense group. This onsite role supports 2nd or 3rd shift in East Aurora, NY, reporting to the Sr. Operations Coordinator.

You will perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, and diagnostic rework using drawings and test procedures. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with 3 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using measuring instruments and tools.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping of wires on complex sub-assemblies, electronics and mechanicals.
• Work from drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other units.
• Use product knowledge to diagnose and rework units that fail tests.
• Assist with repairs normally run with production units.
• Operate hydraulic stands to perform assembly functions.
• Some testing required using defined procedures.

Job Title: A&T Technician II

Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an A&T Technician II to join them. You will report to the Sr. Operations Coordinator and will have an onsite, 2nd or 3rd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 3 years related experience in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform different assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using a variety of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools and cleaning devices.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations of wires on complex sub-assemblies, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Work from drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other units.
• Use working knowledge of the products to perform diagnostic rework on units which do not meet test requirements.
• Work on repairs normally run with production units.
• Work on hydraulic stands to perform assembly functions.
• Some testing required using defined procedures.
