Job summary

Vista is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor for the A Shift in Reno, NV. The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, and you will lead the shift, align with plant policies, and drive daily and long‑term targets.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in a leadership role in manufacturing with >30 direct reports.
Experience leading, mentoring and developing both permanent and temporary team members.
Strong knowledge of safety standards and OSHA requirements in a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with inventory management processes and SAP or similar systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead production shifts and meet daily/long-term targets as guided by senior leadership.
Coach and develop staff; manage scheduling, time off, overtime, and coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve metrics and equipment performance.
Oversee quality control and adjust processes to stay within specifications.
Uphold 5S standards and safety culture; conduct regular safety inspections.
Communicate operational updates and root-cause analyses; drive continuous improvement.
