Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking an A&P Technician to inspect, repair, assemble and test aircraft components in a high-demand aerospace setting. Candidates should have FAA A&P licensure and 2–5 years of small aircraft maintenance experience, with proficiency in reading OEM data and using hand tools.

The role involves performing routine inspections, determining repair schemes, and ensuring compliance with FAA requirements while maintaining detailed work package records and timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; FAA A&P licence required.
• 2–5 years of experience with small aircraft or general aviation, trained in one aircraft type.
• Depot-level aircraft maintenance and repair experience.
• Able to interpret OEM technical data and work package instructions.
• Experience using power or pneumatic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems.
• Determine repair needs, order parts, and follow shop orders.
• Repair, rework and modify worn assemblies and adjust components.
• Complete work package documentation and sign-off; QA review.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Lead for technical guidance.
